The Passion of the Christ

This movie would simply be the most valuable movie this year as it has showed one of the most important role of Christ's death on people's lives. We learned a lot from this movie. I don't agree as to what people consider this as an anti-semetic movie because it generally shows how our sins hurts Him. This movie shows that the greatest way to experience God's love is through Jesus Christ.

Favorite part:
>When Mary runs to meet Jesus carrying the cross and some a reminiscing scene of the child Jesus stumbling.
>Another really inspiring scene was when Jesus first saw the cross and embraced it.
>The teardrop from heaven was also among people's favorite part.

The Matrix: Revolutions                                                                                                          (Nov 2003)

Final part of the Matrix movie. This one is good but i get to miss the cool fighting effects and sequence from the first two parts (Scenes like Neo fighting Morpheus). Did you notice that the phone thing (where they get to phonebooths to transfer from the real world to the matrix or vice versa) was never seen on this movie? It featured more of Zion fighting for their survival from the machines, which is exactly the revolution. With Neo "the one" finally defeats Agent Smith (Neo's opposite) and creating a peaceful world again. Peace from the hands of the machines but the matrix still exists.

Favorite part: When Trinity, Morpheus and the guard went to set Neo free from the . In this scene they get to meet with opponents who can get upside down. Another scene is the defending of the duct from the machines. (very similar to the game "Mech Warrior"). The last fight between Neo and Smith was also very similar to Dragon ball Z fights.  hmmm...

Overall rating: ****' (A-)

The Rundown                                                                                                                               (Oct 2003)

The story is simple. "The rock" wants to resign from his job but before he gets to resign the man whom he works for gave him his final mission which is to bring the man's son back. So he went to EL Dorado and thinking that it would be easy for him to bring the guy back. He gets to fight some of the people whom the son is working for, survive at the jungle, meet some natives and in the end gets to save the town.

Favorite part: The rock beats everyone without a gun except for the last part where he had no choice but to use it to save Scott. Also some of the funny parts with Scott trying to escape from the rock.

Overall rating: *** (B-)

You know that Harry Potter books sold out millions and that the author J.K. Rowling is now the richest female author ever,  but did you know that Pensylvania was the first colony to legalize witchcraft. How about Siquijor?
