Jim Lee's Superman series is at its final 3 issues and here are some previews.
Superman 208 (Jim Lee and Brian Azzerello) has featured the best combination of Jim Lee's art and Brian's storyline.
In this issue Superman is confronted with JLA in his decision to control the vanishing as he believes he need to interfere.
On th last part of the issue shows his confrontation with Aquaman.

Wizard releases one of its biggest issue which features Jim Lee's
upcoming Superman, on going and upcoming movies based on comics, on the set of the movie Hellboy and top 20 comic movie babes
of all time.
New X-men issue 151 features Grant Morrison and Marc Silvestri. This will feature the story of the Days of the Future's
Past. This storyline will be a four issue finale of Grant Morisson. Seeing Silvestri come back to X-men is one big thing to
begin the new year.

Welcome and here are some comic updates.
July
Big hit for Superman: Birthright its a sold out!!! Last Friday (July 4) i went to Filbars at ATC the stock
has not arrived yet and they were expecting for the comics to arrive that day. I waited till 8pmjust went around ATC and
at last it arrived and people are also waiting for the comics and of course i was able to get one. Very cool superman
here especially that it is drawn by Leinil Yu with inker Gerry Alanguilan and more of that Mark Waid is the writer. Birthright
issue 1 begins with a drama of Jor-El and wife deciding to send Kal-El to a planet where he can survive then the next pages
features Clark in Africa saving Kobe Asuru as he was plotted twice by some mob due to family rivalries. This will be a
very cool Superman series.
With Jim Lee's Batman still on going and the latest is issue 616. And im completing this series. Jim Lee's issue started
from issue 607 and the latest is 616. Within this issues enemies like Poison Ivy, Croc, Harley Quinn, Joker and Two Face have
come out and issue 612 was one of the coolest when Batman battles the man of steel Superman. In this series is
Jeph Loeb also featured Nightwing (former Robin), the Huntress and the love between Bruce and Selina (Catwoman). Batman is
currently number one on the comic charts. Jim Lee is expected to finish 12 issues with Batman along with Jeph Loeb (writer)
and Scott Williams (inks).
June
I recently bought Uncanny Xmen 425 by Philip Tan and its cool. The story focused on Havok who is about to marry Polaris
but did not happen because he still had a special feeling with the nurse who took care of him when he was stil in the hospital.
Another pinoy makes it to Marvel and specifically X-men.
Gerry Alanguilan's Wasted is now available which is a compilation of his works with the Pulp Magazine specifically
with the Wasted series. And another news is that Wasted the movie is now in the making starring Gerry himself as
Eric who is the main character in the story.
Whilce Portacio's Stormwatch Achilles continues its story where a new team of Stormwatch was organized by the United Nations.
Here Whilce showed a new style of art and doing the colors as well. Story by Micah Wright, a former airbourne of the U.S.
army who then became a writer after earning his degree at the University of Arizona.
Highroads trade paperback by Leinil Francis Yu and Gerry Alanguilan plus story by Scott Lobdell. Highroads features a story
of U.S. Army Captain Nick Highroad during the end of the world war II.

Again Eypo gave me another comic and it's a Transformers "the war within" issue 1!!! If you can still remember last year
he gave me the Wildcats compendium. How do i thank this man? should i change this page to eypo's comic guide? hmmm...
Anyway here's an art by Philip Tan taken from the forum komikero and more art available in PhilArt. He
will be doing the uncanny x-men series starting june 2003. And he's pinoy! Way to go Philip. Plus upcoming Superman: Birthright
by Leinil Yu and Gerry Alanguilan as shown above.

I collect comics ever since high school and but i rarely get to the comic stores this days and not that much
budget for comics anymore but here are some of my favorite comics spawn, kiss psycho circus, x-men, wetworks (whilce
art), spider man, aria, wildcats, bone and a lot more. Right now i'm collecting transformers, marvel - the end series,
storwatch- team achilles and soon Philip Tan's uncanny x-men issues. Im actually more particular with the artist
rather than the title. My favorite artist are Whilce Portacio, Pat lee, Gerry Alanguilan, Jim Lee, Todd Mcfarlane, Francis
Leinil Yu, Pol Medina Jr., Scott Williams, Jay Anacleto, Jeff Smith, Jim Starlin, Sam Keith, Greg Capulo, Joe Madureira and
a lot more. Sometimes when i get to a comicshop, i see comics that have cool art but not that popular and get to
buy them coz im also into cool and good art.
About anime, im not really into its style coz sometimes in one split of a second the amazing serious heroes
get to have very big eyes and big mouth when they cry or shout! Well that's funny but they get to disturb the cool art. But
i still like some animes like "Ninja Scroll" which is very cool! The creativeness of each character were well emphasized.
I also like Samurai X which i rarely get the chance to watch it by this time. And i like the flow of the story of the "Ghost
Fighter" and the characters as well. Someone told me that "Ghost In The Shell" is also very good but i haven't seen it yet.
Right now there's this new anime series in abs-cbn and it's Final Fantasy i watch it once in a while.
And here's something for you to know. Dreamwave comics is making up the comeback of Transformers in
comics. Wow! This is one cool comic and it's hot in the states. A lot of the oldies are coming back like the Thundercats
which will is available now including the G-force. This with a cool art although the originality of the characters are
there but it's still nice to know that this titles are back!!! And do you want to know what's Jim Lee's new project? He's
doing Batman! I have seen the comic and one word for this "coolness".
Right now i am collecting the "MARVEL- THE END" series by Jim Starlin and Al milgrom. It is a story of how the Marvel
super heroes will end under the hands of Akhetaten or maybe Thanos of Titan. In the first issue (released on the 2nd week
of march 2003) Thanos begins his story of how the Marvel Universe will end. He begins with the return of Akhetaten who has
been the pharaoh of Egypt but disappeared with the whole kingdom confused of where he went or maybe have died. And so the
story continues... the whole marvel universe has felt his coming and the heroes started gathering. With all the x-men meets
at the x-mansion, the fantastic four and other super heroes also gathered while in some place spider man and daredevil and
even the higher council including Eterbity, Infinity and the lord of chaos has felt Akhetaten's amazing power. Akhetaten built
back hid temple and gathered the world leaders giving them warning and a choice to join him in his quest. and of course president
gloria macapagal arroyo is included in the comics as well as president bush, saddam and all the other world leaders. You can
